ME! Greetings all. My name is Maria, I'm from Chicago and I've been a Queen Fan since 1975. I saw them play in Chicago at the Stadium and it was the first Concert I ever attended which was probably not a good thing because no band since has come close to their performance and energy!

Hi Maria and Welcome! My first concert was The Sweet in London in 1978. They were my favourite band, along with Queen, who sadly I never got to see with Freddie. You certainly saw them in what many (including myself) consider to be their best era. You might even find a recording of the show you attended around here somewhere. 🙂

I think Maria saw the January 1977 show, which currently is not available. Apparently a recording of Thin Lizzy's opening set in Chicago is out there.
The closest we can get is Toledo, which happened 2 days later, on the January 30th.

Hi Maria and welcome. My name is Dave. My first concert was in 1978 and it was Black Sabbath who were supported by a then unknown Van Halen, in Glasgow Scotland. My first Queen concert was in 1979 - the night Roger forgot the words to his own song, Im In Love With My Car. to which Freddie tried his best to help him out Again that was in Glasgow, Scotland. Still a great show though.
