I think you’ve missed the criteria for this. It’s a Rock set list. Not your favourite setlist. I started a thread sometime ago and although it got quite a few interesting replies hardly anyone answered what the thread was asking. It’s easy to pick one or two words out of a heading but the details in the headings post need to be read. 😎 |

definitely a distinction between "dream" and "rock" - Somebody To Love, Let Me Live, These Are The Days of Our Lives, Killer Queen, You're My Best Friend & Bicycle Race are not rock tunes. so - although I probably am senile, this one occasion definitely isn't an example of it Again, it's all subjective, but I'd argue that Somebody To Love is a 'rock' song, albeit in a bluesy gospel vein. It's got all the elements of 'Rock' (guitar, drums, bass, piano, no electronics), and is certainly more 'rock' than, say, A Kind Of Magic, which has a faster beat but I wouldn't personally describe as a 'rock' song. 'Rock' doesn't need to be pedal to the metal fast - would we not describe Comfortably Numb or Black Sabbath (the track) as 'rock'? 🤘🙂 |

I've taken the original Queen Rocks and fixed it for errors as it was actually a not bad release and would be popular with headbangers like myself, not sure about the running order mind (I wonder when volume 2 is coming out as it was promised way back in 1997).
