I would love a box set of "Live Killers" with all the tracks in full & the tracks that were left off "Live Killers" included . Does anybody know what the full set list was during that era ?

By all accounts, Queen should have AT LEAST the same amount of gigs available in multi track. I hope they do it right

Hell, If ever they're gonna pitch-correct the whole thing, I'd like to see them try to work around Tokyo 4/25 for the hell of it!

The songs on Live Killers are in full as performed, the album is a fair representation of what was played. If you want to know what was being played in Europe in 1979 have a look at this site www.queenlive.ca/ I’m surprised you don’t already know. The setlist was similar to the Crazy Tour with a few differences.

I wouldn't say that cutting two of their singles (STL, FBG), and two songs from their most recent album (FBG, IYCBT) is a "fair representation" of the tour setlist. I’m surprised you don’t already know. The setlist was similar to the Crazy Tour with a few differences. I'd say the setlist is pretty substantially different from the Crazy Tour. +Jailhouse Rock +Mustapha +Save Me +Liar +Crazy Little Thing Called Love -It's Late -Dreamer's Ball -Beginning of Brighton Rock -End of Keep Yourself Alive Let Me Entertain You and Tie Your Mother Down were the openers for most of the first half of the tour, as well. In general the whole set order was pretty experimental on the Crazy Tour.

In general the whole set order was pretty experimental on the Crazy Tour. I didn’t said was the same set list, I said similar. And I didn’t say there were songs that weren’t included. The original post said he wanted to hear full performances of the songs, well they are full performances of the songs as played during the shows. He mentions that he’d like the songs that weren’t included returned and questioned what was played during that tour. As for the Crazy Tour, the set list still had the same basic structure and a lot of the same songs as the European/ Japanese tour. Let Me Entertain You, Jail House Rock and We Will Rock You were set openers at different venues during The Crazy Tour. Tie Your Mother Down was played as a second song very occasionally, otherwise it remained after Bo Rhap. Yes the album is a fair representation of what was played on that tour. 1 given the time/space limitations of vinyl 2 including the medley, Now I’m Here, The acoustic section, Brian’s solo and Bo Rhap, all major set pieces in the show maintaining the feeling of the shows structure. 3 The songs are uncut and therefore presented as they were played (a fair representation) unlike Live Magic. I provided a link in Queenlive because it’s the best place to find the answers to what was being asked re the 79 setlist.

There’s also a not inconsiderable amount of overdubbing. Hardly “in full as performed”. It’s not a question about what was over dubbed or “Frankensteined together”. The songs they chose to include on Live Killers appear as they did during that tour. The show/album starts with WWRY and ends with WATC. I was answering the original poster’s question about Live Killers having songs cut and dropped and what was played during the tour. No songs were cut short compared to the shows but some were dropped from the set. If you want to get into what live performances made up which songs and what may or may not be touched up in the studio that is a far bigger subject then a few lines in this thread. Queenonline.ca has a brilliant section on the Live Killers album. What I said was that the album is a fair representation of what was played. It is, it flows in the same way the set flowed it has all the main set pieces that the tour featured and it has the energy (both band and crowd) that those shows had. What are presented are live versions of the songs in the same way that Live and Dangerous presented a Thin Lizzy show. If you couldn’t get to a show you’ve got a live album. If you were able to go you’ve got a souvenir of what you saw. How many people at the time were questioning what was live or stiched together or over dubbed in some way. As I said, a fair representation. Not necessarily note for note a single live show.

Dreamer's Ball was cut short compared to the show, they removed some of the jam at the start, and if you were to be pedantic about the definition of cut short so is IILWMC since they cut some dead air between the end of the song and the audience's reaction to the end of the song, but that's not really coutable for the sake of this.

Keep Yourself Alive also had its intro shortened, incl. the usual Fun it adlibs.

Indeed - side 2 was approaching 25 minutes in length, so it's entirely possible a bit of varispeed was applied. The same goes for the tail end of Brighton Rock.
