If you have an autographed item, share a photo and your story here! I'll start, it's not a super interesting story but I'll try anyway. Christmas time / New Year 2014, I was browsing the web and saw people who managed to contact one of the band members and actually get stuff signed, it was very inspiring because I was pretty sure that living where I live I might never meet them. I went to fanmail.biz and went to business. Without much hope but still inspired I bought a few envelopes and these international pre-paid sort of tickets that they said one must include. The lady at the post office had no idea what they were so I ended up ordering them online. Roger's address wasn't specified, only the fan club address. But I had a couple addresses of Brian and John's companies so I chose one of each pretty randomly. I believe to Brian it actually went through Anita. Anyway, I wrote each of them a letter by hand explaining when, why and how I became a fan and what I very much appreciated about their music and life, the usual stuff. I have a 6x4" set of Alan Perry's UK tour photos of Liverpool & Manchester 79 and a few of London 78 & 76. I included each of them a photo from the December 6, Liverpool gig. Threw them into the bin and tried not to think much. Fast forward to mid March and I get one back from Brian. Neatly signed. No more, no less. I posted it on a Queen autographs FB group where people look at these things every day and they verified it for me. Very cool! Fast forward a few months and I've pretty much forgotten about all this until I was coming back home one sunny afternoon / evening. It was September 22, 2015 and I saw the green envelope that I had sent to John! Man, that was great! It took me a couple seconds to realise. Very exciting. I was hoping it wasn't just someone from the company brushing me off or including a presigned card. Thankfully no. I went inside and got it open and there's a paper stamped by Mercury Phoenix Trust which says that John signs very limited amount of memorabilia and they would be very disappointed to see it for sale anywhere online. Makes sense and fine by me! I never did this with any intentions of selling. Lovely Sue also wrote a P.S. at the bottom stating that my prepaid tickets didn't mean a crap and that they're returning them. Ok. And there it is, with a dedication and a year. Lovely item. Collectors value items with dedications less because Jack probably doesn't want to buy something signed for Ann. Whatever, for me it's all the more worth it. I admire John a lot so it was great knowing that he probably did read my letter and now I have something personal from this recluse.

Wow - fabulous that you made any headway with Deacon. Many have tried, and most have failed. Congrats.

Little back story... I bought this original photo from Merle Allin, his brother GG Allin took this photo of Queen in Portland, ME - April 28th, 1974. (yes, GG, the notorious Madman of Manchester, who you’d see on Jerry Springer, Geraldo Rivera, and whom Todd Philips did his first documentary about..Todd would later do The Joker, The Hangovers, A Star Is Born (producer), Starsky & Hutch..) I sent a copy of it to John, along with my bands latest CD at the time. He graciously signed the photo and thanked me for the album, 21 and On. I was beyond pleased to say the least. Signed photo: www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10215796327917852&set=a.1188208582071&type=3

That's great! I've only got an autograph by Brian yet. It came with his 3D book sold on the Queen + AL tour 2018. Despite Queen, I have an autograph by Peter Straker who was a close friend of Freddie. However, I'll get an autograph by Rudi Dolezal on his upcoming book, too.

Mine here!! ANATO 30th anniversary vinyl signed by Roger and Brian in Barcelona, 2008, pre QPR show. I went to the hotel I suposed they were staying and I knew I was right when I spotted a reduced group of fans at the doors. Spent with them all morning and afternoon waiting for something to happen since, finally, a taxi approached the hotel and that was Roger. He saw us, smiled and, as all of us were holding our breaths and didn´t dare to make a single move, he stayed standing a couple of meters away from us with a funny face like "hey, nobody wants a photo or something with me?", so I was the first to step in, sayed hi and asked him politely if he could sign my vinyl and take a photo together and, yeah, he was really nice and accepted. We shook hands and I felt like... wow, that was a very emotional moment and it meant a lot to me!! Freddie has always been my favourite band member, but Roger has always followed him very close! 20 or 30min later Brian showed up and approached us. He told us very politely that he didn´t want us to take him photos, but he would take the time to sign all the stuff we wanted... if we promised we wouldn´t sell anything on ebay! He was nice too, but it really felt like he was a bigger star, while Roger, compared to him, was more accessible. At least that was my impression that day! But being near both of them, shaking hands, having my photo with Roger, their signatures on my ANATO vinyl ... wow, that was a dream come true and a very special moment in my life that I will always remember ANATO signed

Did anyone buy the T.E.Conway signed CD at the Another World gigs? I nearly did, but it was more expensive than a signed Another World CD so passed. Not sure that was the right call.

I saw Brian in Australia in '98 and picked up the signed Another World CD. It's probably packed away in my loft somewhere...

I met Brian twice, in 1998. Both meets were prizes won in a competition. The first time was in the Hard Rock Café in London. From a number of European countries, two fans were flown in to meet Brian and have lunch with him. Flying from Amsterdam to London with an EMI-representative, we were then driven to the Hard Rock Café and taken to a private area to wait for Brians arrival. He was very friendly, relaxed and interested in all the prize winners. He also signed a lof of stuff that day. We all received a goodie-bag with a signed copy of the Another World-cd, but I also brought the vinyl-album with me, as well as the Starfleet Project-vinyl (to which he commented "I haven't seen that one in a long time!"). For fun I also asked him to sign the The Amazing Spider-Man 12" vinyl picture disc, which he did on the vinyl. I have that one framed with a picture of Brian signing it, with me setting next to him. He also posed very patiently for individual pictures with all the prize winners.
Later that year, I met him before a concert of the Brian May Band in the Netherlands. I took just one picture with me, from the Hard Rock Café-lunch, and he signed it "to Hugo". There was hardly any time for smalltalk as he was getting ready for the show.

Mine isn't anything too exciting but I'll share it anyway. For a while, I was always on the lookout for the Queen Studio Collection coloured vinyl boxset, then one day, I spotted it on Discogs. So upon closer inspection, I realised that it was signed by Brian, and it wasn't much more expensive than the boxsets were going for at the time. The story is from the original seller is " Scarce set for radio promotion". Looks to have been signed in 2018, although it looks a bit rushed. I've also sent letters like Chief Mouse but I never heard back from either Brian or John But I've extremely happy to have this. Thanks to everyone else for sharing your experiences -Chin

I went to the fan club's trip to the Cross' show in Frankfurt, 1990. After the show, I went back to the coach that we'd all travelled on. The bus driver said everyone else was meeting the band - no one had told me! I went and found the stage door and utterly failed to use my schoolboy German to get past security. Luckily I spotted Jacky Smith, shouted her and got in that way. So, about 40 of us crowded in a room with 5 sweaty musicians asking lots of questions and getting random stuff autographed. I got 4 of them on the back of my ticket, and RT on the front.

By the way, are you attending any of the Roger’s shows? Regards

I was even luckier on the following year's trip to the Blue Rock tour show.
I was hoping to have time to find a record shop to actually BUY Blue Rock during the afternoon.
But it turned out I was the least drunk person doing the quiz on the coach, and first prize was...a Blue Rock CD!

I had planned to order it online BUT I was at my record store and I thought, just for fun, to check the used "T" section (as in TAYLOR-comma-ROGER) to see if anything notable would come out. Turns out there was this copy of Strange Frontier and for only $3. Needless to say I freaked out big time as I'd never seen a Roger solo album in public prior to that. That was a steal and definitely saved me a lot of money.

Brian did a promo tour for Innuendo in June of '91, and he did a signing event and played along to 3 songs at HMV in Toronto. Surprisingly, given the fact Queen had fallen out of favour, it was a packed store, and they called the autograph session off with about 50 people ahead of me, dashing my hopes of getting my 1985 Guild BHM guitar signed. However, I walked right through security to the lane behind the store where Brian was seated in his limo, but he graciously got out when I asked him to sign my guitar, despite having nothing to sign it with. Someone pulled out a Sharpie, he signed it and commented on the subtlety of black marker on a black guitar, and was back in the limo to get to the airport. I've long since played the autograph off as a guitar is not a museum piece, but it was a great day and I had a big smile on my face walking down Yonge Street with a Brian May autographed Brian May guitar.

Last year, I was bored of lockdown, so I just started scrolling through the UK on Google Maps, and saw a location called 'We Will Rock You Filming Location', and I thought surely it couldn't be Roger's house where the videos for WWRY and SYW were filmed. But then I noticed the huge Freddie Mercury statue that Roger has in his garden, and realised that it really was his house. So I sent him a letter, thanking him for all the great music he has given us, and I asked for an autograph. After about two weeks of seeing nothing come through the post, I assumed that the letter was tossed to one side, or that I had the address wrong, but then a few days later, a large envelope came through my postbox, and when I opened it, I saw a photo of Roger, with a signature in silver pen at the bottom. The photo is now in a frame above my bed. But not only is it signed, there is a silver fingerprint on the back from what I can only assume is where some ink got onto Roger's hand. Definitely a favourite in my collection! http://instagram.com/p/CE9mvXOBcQ0 (Sorry it's a link to a photo on my Instagram, I didn't know how else to link it!)
