Frederick Bulsara (later Frederick Mercury) was a founding member of Queen as well as their lead singer, main backing vocalist, most prolific composer, lyricist, arranger and producer, chief keyboardist and the first band member to sadly and tragically pass away. He's one of the four main reasons why this forum exists. Are you referring to that genius of the drumming world called Colin Flooks? Yes. I'd forgotten (or perhaps I never knew) his surname had also been changed. Next time, I'll google it first. |

While this subject is current, Brian has just posted that he is working on re releasing Back To The Light with bonus (unreleased) material.

Brian does not mention unreleased material,just bonus tracks. The following quote is from Brian`s site.
"I’m working night and day right now to bring back this album - Back to the Light - my first solo album - and relaunch it out there. For a long time it hasn’t been available. It’s quite tricky under lockdown - but it will soon be ready - all remastered and polished and with a nice little package of bonus tracks. DRIVEN BY YOU was my very first solo HIT single - originally inspired by writing an ad for Ford motor cars - strange how life happens. From cars and speed and road trips it became a love song. And one that still resonates with me."
