While all these photos are quite stunning, I feel rather uneasy with people removing watermarks from photos – not watermarks like MustaphaLover69 or whatever, get rid of that shit, but I mean from Getty and other stock websites. That's essentially the same as pirating music, and I know there's that whole argument that "oh it's out there on the Internet, anyone can use it" (that's bullshit), but a person took that photo, and they should be compensated for it, regardless of how much they may get. Alas we're in the age of professional "content creators" putting their name on everything as if it's theirs. I guess the concepts of copyright law didn't translate too well to a lot of validation craved people once they could just get everything they wanted from a Google search.

You're correct in general, but should this site be enabling / allowing it? I have been very vocal in my opposition to this.
The only exceptions should be if the photos cannot be found anywhere else. But considering how these people on Instagram just take photos from elsewhere on the internet, the number of them ending up here should be pretty near zero. Members of this forum should be above Instagrammers.

Well I looked online, but can not find the photo in better quality, and I am sure that they are the people who scanned the magazine cover, sorry though Then look harder for it. The caption at the bottom almost certainly indicates that it's from a magazine.
Find the original, or ask the person who runs that website to send you a copy before they watermarked it. It is not their property, and thus it is not theirs to ruin like this.
We need to have some quality control here, and this thread is getting out of hand. It shouldn't be a place to just indiscriminately post a bunch of photos. Look at the first few pages of thread, and compare it to what it has descended to.
