That explains it. They didn't even buy the book - they just took a screenshot from Amazon, cropped it, and applied an Instagram filter to it. That sounds about right for the bulk of these self-appointed social media "content creators."

Now Bremen is the only Euro 1980 gig without photos. And now I'm eating my words - I just heard from a fellow named Franz Kühne who took photos at the Bremen gig. The first four are his, and the last three are from the same show but taken by someone else.

Toronto, February 1st 1977. Quoting from the photographer: "taken from the Greys hand held with my 135mm lens. Been sitting in a box forever, and I decided to scan them to see how they look." Needless to say, these are some of the greatest shots from this tour.  Wow - these are incredible.

If the background photo is Inglewood, then these two should also be Inglewood:   Both taken from 1978 Spring Tour Book. Now it makes me wonder whether most of the photos from that book are taken from this show. I already uploaded them on page 49 (reply #1461). Most of them could very well be the same show. |

Boston 7-23-82, not long before Billy Squier came on.
The anticipation for big rock shows in Boston at the time was greater than most. People never took them for granted after Zeppelin were banned from playing in Boston in 1975.

Don't know why but I'm not able to post images. Here's a link to enhanced and colourised baby Fred. The colourising is fine. But the AI enhancement can be troublesome if it's not done well.

It was mostly summer outdoor gigs. They wanted to feel loose and comfortable, and white would trap less heat.
