New York City, NY, USA Madison Square Garden September ??, 1980 Taken by Robert Bacall Is that a flaw in the photo or a towel being thrown at Freddie Mercury captured mid-flight !?

A pro photographer (presumably) with stage access, and that's his framing?
Maybe these are his outtakes and the good stuff is already out there....

Those photos have been taken from the tiered seating at the side the stage, not in the down stage “pit” where most pro photographers with passes shoot from. You can clearly see that Freddie and Brian are both standing on the raised platform, stage right, and the PA stage cables to the flown rig are obvious.

Alright, now that we've figured out all the outfit mysteries regarding the California 77 shows, we can start putting some proper labels on these shots. Long Beach, December 21st 1977 Threse are all great photos, but this one is stunning!

And for more identification of Neil Zlozowers photos, it turns out this shot from Santa Monica 1976 is his.

Hoffman Estates, August 1982. Photos by Paul Stahnke. Don't know from which night they are. I believe I've seen shots from the second night where John is in red, so these are likely from the first night.

I was looking the existing photo from the first night and Roger seems to have this same outfit. So, these images are 99% from the 13th August show.

I found this beautiful picture of the Japanese crowd coming from Queen's last Japanese tour in 1985. This was taken at the famous Nippon Budokan in Tokyo on 8th or 9th May 1985. Photo © Koh Hasebe.

Beautiful shot of an audience that has aged a decade with their band - one of whom is in hero worship mode in a full suit. This is everything I love about Japan.
Masahiko pretty sure you'll enjoy this one !

May I ask what's the occasion of this picture? A rough date or what ceremony. I don't see Mercury wearing this top very often. Thanks very much. Another pic.

Queen receiving gold discs for 'News Of The World' album by EMI Electrola, the German division of EMI. If I remember right, these pictures were taken during the ceremony held by the company in Dortmund in April 1978. Queen were on tour at the time.

Thank you both for the information. I put the pic The Real Wizard posted into google image, and find a Facebook page 'QueenMuseum.com', it labelled the event to be '1978 Munich Germany. 250.000 records sold for NOTW'. Facebook link
