Two pics from the European tour of 'Hot Space': 1) Gothenburg, 9th April 1982. This particular shot was used for the cover of the Official Queen Fan Club Magazine in Winter 1998. 2) Stockholm, 10th April 1982 (unfortunately, the quality is not so good).

The third photo was probably taken in Nishinomiya. In this show, Freddie didn't take off his tank top until the end, and in the encore, Another One Bites The Dust, he wore the arrow jacket that he used to wear in the previous NA tour.

These are labelled as Osaka 1976, but pretty sure the first one is from 1975 - what say y'all ?
Interesting outfit on Brian in the second pic. Never seen that one before.

About a year ago, Ryan Newton posted a photo of Freddie Mercury taken by Roland Morgan at Seattle Center Coliseum on 12th December 1978. Here's another set of photos taken that same night by the same photographer, Roland Morgan; they are watermarked with his copyright. John Deacon's photo is reversed. Easily fixed

How do you know this if there aren't any existing photos from the 10/24 show ?

I suppose that this is from one of the Japanese concerts in 1975. Freddie's haircut is shorter I think.

Both Fukuoka 10/19,20 (John and Brian costumes are different.)Nishinomiya 10/24 ?Tokorozawa 11/3
Music Life took photos at four shows, both in Fukuoka, Nishinomiya and Tokorozawa, many of which will be used in a Queen book to be released in Japan. Many of the photos will be used in a book about Queen to be released in Japan. At the Fukuoka show, Freddie can be identified because he was not wearing a wristband on his upper arm on both days. I am convinced that the third photo was taken in Nishinomiya because the wristband is reversed in the third photo and the Tokorozawa show shown in the video.

Hey The Real Wizard, could it be the same outfit? I found this pic of Brian May many years ago and I have never been able to date it. If it's the same outfit, could it also have been taken in 1976 (maybe US or Australia)?

So the first two photos are labelled in the book with certainty as being from Fukuoka ? Or is this just an assumption ?

The first photo is not exactly labeled, but it was definitely taken in Fukuoka, as there is another photo labeled Fukuoka where John is wearing a red outfit. Furthermore, the Nishinomiya and Tokorozawa venues are both outdoors with no ceiling. Looking at the actual ceiling, the photo was definitely taken in Fukuoka. I think this is the correct dating. 1) These are from Fukuoka, 19th October 1982. 2) This second shot is from Fukuoka, 20th October 1982 (in a previous post some weeks ago, I posted a photo by Koh Hasebe taken from a Japanese site who labelled as the second night - John's outfit is identical to the one we wore in Tokorozawa).

Looks like Japan '79, as per the faint text on the bottom of this photo that popped up on pinterest (I don't think Mercury even wore the silver lurex suit on the European tour at all):

Saw this a few weeks ago, I was about to share it with all the members. For sure is from 1979 judging by Deacon's haircut. I saw the silver lurex suit in some 1978 US concerts, but I also think this isn't from Europe 1979 and for sure not from Crazy Tour. If see that there is a caption (very blurry) in Japanese in the lower part of the photo. It should have been taken in Japan.

I don't follow this thread terribly often so I hope these haven't been posted before, but some lovely shots of Hannover (and possibly some other German shows to, the website doesn't specify): This lot of photos contains the full colour image of Freddie being carried to the piano stool, as well as a photo likely of WWRY with him sitting on the stool: Wow - two very unique shots.

Nice pictures from the concert in Bremen, 1st December 1980. Nice ! I always thought this one was from Leiden, but now we know he wore the same shirt a few nights later.

Exactly! The website labeled it wrong as 1984, but after some research we can say it's from Bremen 1980.

Great shot of the band during the 'Rock 'N America Tour' in summer 1982, taken by Neal Preston. Not sure about the location: it looks like John Deacon is wearing his yellow outfit, thus suggesting that the photo may have been taken during the second concert in Toronto on 3rd August 1982...however, Brian May's outfit is different from the one wore that night in Toronto (perhaps he changed during the show). However, it could be from any other night during that tour.

Thanks for sharing. Also, someone pointed out that this is the shot of Fred on the Rainbow 74 release! (Or, at least is from the same show, probably only seconds apart)

Here's another one attributed to that night, taken by Stefan Wallgren (although it's hard to see Mercury's necklaces):
