1978-12?-?? Los Angeles Forum? Some weeks ago, Ryan Newton posted a photo taken by Neal Preston at Los Angeles Forum at one of the three concerts in December 1978. Not so long ago, I found this wonderful picture, also taken by Neal Preston, labeled as 'USA '78'. As Ryan pointed out in that post, Freddie began wearing shoes instead of slippers from the Madison concert onwards (December 6th); in this photo, Freddie is wearing shoes and, given that Neal Preston was present in at least one of the three concerts in Los Angeles (the one on December 20th for example), this pic could be from the last gig of the North American tour. However, it's not possible to date the photo as it's not possible to see the color of the suspenders worn by Mercury (in Los Angeles he wore shiny suspenders).

This also can't be 12/20 as Freddie wore the silver lurex for the encore of that show

1978-12-16 Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, Oakland These pics were posted on Twitter by a girl called blurry again; she said that her mother took them when she saw Queen in 1979 at the age of 17, but she later corrected the post saying it was in 1978. She also posted the ticket from the Oakland concert to clear up any doubts. The pic were taken with a 35mm Kodak camera.

1976-??-?? 'A Night At The Opera' Japan Tour Photographer: Watal Asanuma These two pictures were taken at one of the Japanese concerts in March-April 1976 (definetely not in Tokyo 3/22, Nagoya 3/23 or Fukuoka 3/26, because John's outfit was different). In the second photo, probably taken by Asanuma too, John Deacon's outfit is more visible:

Freddie wore those black shorts in Houston 1980, I recognise them from that Freddie riding on Darth Vader photo. He could have worn them on other shows too of course I have made a table with all outfits from The Game Tour and where he wore what (as far as we know that is) and these are the confirmed appearances with the black shorts + red tie combination: - Phoenix (July 6th)
- Pittsburgh (August 24th)
- Toronto (August 30th)
- Rosemont (September 19th)
- Detroit (September 20th)
- New York (September 28th)
And then there is at least one Inglewood show plus probably more unknown ones.
At Houston he wore those shorts with the Flash Gordon shirt so that show is definitely out of the race for this specific photo

1973-12-02 Central Hall, Chatham Photographer: Barbara Cascinari While this set has been historically labeled as Oxford, there are some reasons as to why this isn't actually Oxford, but instead the Chatham show. First of all, the backdrop is completely different to the Robert Ellis Oxford shots, in here you can see there's a curtain behind the stage, while in the photo above there's no such thing. Point number 2: The venue in the top photo definitely matches the Central Hall in Chatham, the backdrop here looks identical.

This is from the last night, May 13th. You can tell because Fred is wearing a wristband.
