Thank you @lord Fickle The link I posted works fine for me, but you never know, how the access from different countries is working. I hope everyone can read it now.

It's a shame that they'll probably only play it for a couple of shows, then it'll be back to the same old hits.
That said, even though I won't be travelling over to see it, I'll be pleasantly surprised if they do play a few more album tracks in the set.

I read the interview about the upcoming concerts. Was glad to hear that Adam would not be singing, "You Take My Breath Away" even though he loves the song. People will probably disagree with me, but it just seems like a song that only Freddie should be singing! On the other hand, I would love to hear "Is This The World We Created". It's certainly timely!

I hadn’t heard it from Adam before, but I remember Neil Fairclough saying 5 or 6 or more years ago, that Adam sang You Take My Breath Away during rehearsals for their tour in 2014/15. And Neil had been absolutely stunned by that. But then Adam refused to perform it during the concerts. As Adam said, he loves the song, but he feels that it’s so personal to Freddie, that he feels, he shouldn’t touch it. So they decided to have a short sequence of it with Freddie’s vocals as intro to Who Wants To Live Forever. Unfortunately I would love to hear Adam’s version at least once - Neil said it had been absolutely beautiful. So I‘m curious.

After reading your post about what Neil F. said, I'm also a bit curious as to what Adam's version would sound like. I do think Adam has a great voice, but Freddie's live version of "You Take My Breath Away" at Hyde Park is just so beautiful and heartfelt, I can't picture anyone else capturing that powerful moment the same way. And as Adam said, it's so personal to Freddie. I understand that he feels he shouldn't touch it. I will be seeing the Q + AL show in Boston this October. If Adam changes his mind and does the song, I'll let you know how it sounds!

Oh lord. Q+AL announcement in my hometown of Austin. Too bad it’s at the worst possible time and venue, but whatever, I’ll be there…

Should they have added these extra 8 dates? Not one of them have sold out. The NYC one looks pretty close to selling out. I dunno, are completely sold out shows the only measure of success? No idea. I do wonder if they have the stamina for it tho.

Most shows are almost sold out and the rest has only these over expensive VIP seats for 800$ left. The rest is single seats or resell tickets.

Granted, a couple are close to being full FINALLY but the rest have a lot of seats left.

Must we go through this “it ain’t even sold out” line every tour? I’ve seen them four times on three different tours in three different venues on two different continents. I would describe the attendance as at least 99% sold out at each show, including at the stadium in Sydney when there was a crowd of about 80 000.
When Taylor Swift has been dead for thirty years and her band announce a US tour with a fill-in singer please come back to this forum and let us know how well it sold in comparison to QAL.

That's great to hear that the shows you've been at were nearly sold out. These newly added 8 shows aren't. Sorry if my taking notice of that seems to annoy you. The purpose of adding shows is to satisfy overflow demand but it looks like there wasn't much of that and the original 14 dates would appear to have sufficed.

I think they could have sold Toronto out for a 2nd night but finding a space between Maple Leafs and Raptors games was too difficult

I’m really interested OP why this is such a big deal to you? If 6k seats are left (and that is 2%) then they’ve sold 300k - seems like good business to me.
Why are you so fixated? How does it affect you? Are you a QPL shareholder?

Any Minnesota knowledgeable folks here? Curious to know if there's any particular hotel that most acts stay at when in St. Paul. Would be neat to see if I can afford a room in the hotel the band may be at!

5900 tickets still available 4 months after going on sale. Safe to say this won't be a "sold out" tour. I think a lot of the glow the band enjoyed due to the movie with the general public here in the States has started to fade. It was nice while it lasted, though.

The reality is very differnt, their sales each week in US charts suggest the opposite. Very good sales, digital and streams. Even cool cat did charted. About the tour: From 320.000 tickets 5800 -5900 are still on sale, is about 2%. Some tickets are the very expensive, I "bet" the tour will have success. Which already has in sales. So this tour has a lower percentage of unsold tickets than the Hot Space 82 tour! What’s your point?
