This was in an email from Ticketmaster: "Starting tomorrow at 10 A.M. local venue time, Queen + Adam Lambert VIP packages will be available and may include: An unbelievable ticket onstage in an exclusive Opera Box An invitation to the "Killer Queen" VIP Banquet, including a delectable buffet dinner and complimentary beer and wine An intimate backstage tour with a member from the production team A premium VIP merch gift not available anywhere else Priority check-in, a designated merchandise stand, and more" Well, isn't that everything that's wrong with the 21st century gig experience? (Not a knock on AL, just generally how inauthentic and fundamentally greedy the whole VIP ticket thing is)

Not one venue is close to being sold out yet so we could see prices come down a bit as we get closer to the shows. Definitely has dropped in demand compared to the 2019 tour. I checked about 2 hours later and MSG and Boston were already sold out.....

Glad they’re selling well and they’ve added dates. Only one new Saturday but it’s relatively the closest to me! But the prices - wow. I guess though if I’m going to spend $400 I might as well spend $800?
Well I guess I’ll see how I’m feeling next Friday...

Opera box, Minneapolis secured, Roger's left side! I've got a stash of old rare comics sitting around that bring me no joy anymore, so I'll be selling a few to pay this off. And it will be so worth it. The trip of a lifetime.
Thanks again to all who answered my questions!

I think this was the average setlist from last year's tour:
1. Innuendo (Intro) 2. Now I'm Here 3. Tear It Up 4. Seven Seas of Rhye 5. Hammer To Fall 6. Somebody To Love 7. Killer Queen 8. Don't Stop Me Now 9. In The Lap of The Gods... Revisited 10. I'm In Love With My Car 11. Bicycle Race 12. Fat Bottomed Girls 13. Another One Bites The Dust 14. I Want It All 15. Love of My Life 16. '39 17. These Are The Days of Our Lives 18. Crazy Little Thing Called Love 19. Under Pressure 20. A Kind of Magic 21. Band Introduction 22. I Want To Break Free 23. Who Wants To Live Forever 24. Guitar Solo 25. Tie Your Mother Down 26. The Show Must Go On 27. Radio Ga Ga 28. Bohemian Rhapsody 29. Day-O 30. We Will Rock You 31. We Are The Champions 32. God Save The Queen
If they were to change some of the set, what tracks would you guys like to be replaced, and what with?

Drop Tear it Up, and move Hammer To Fall to later on in the set, then have SSOR go into Breakthru.

I'd agree about dropping Tear It Up. Probably the weakest song in the whole show. I'd possibly replace it with KYA or STC, both of which they've done before, but I'd be very suprised to see anything they haven't done before appearing in the set.

Got tickets for the Boston show!!! The whole process was extremely stressful. Paid more than I had originally planned, but the majority of tickets were basically gone within about 10 minutes, maybe less. I knew they would sell out quickly! Every available pair of tickets I selected were already purchased in the 3 seconds it took to click on them and move them into my cart. I tried several times before having any success. You could literally look at the seating chart and watch the seats disappear. Have never sat up close for any concert in my life...but my husband and I will be 7 rows back on the "Brian side" of the stage. I'm excited! Not surprisingly, the scalpers have snapped up tickets and are reselling them on Stubhub and other sites at ridiculously inflated prices. I hope they are stuck with their tickets or end up selling them at a huge loss! They make it hard for true fans to be able to attend shows. That's great! Hope you enjoy it. It's a fabulous show! Thanks. I'm really looking forward to this...turning it into a mini vacation with my husband. I saw them in 2019 at the Xfinity Center, near Boston. That show was AMAZING. Everyone stood and clapped as the music started and the guys came on stage, but the really cool part is that the entire audience continued to stand for the whole show, singing along to each song. The show was over 2 hours long and no one sat down. You could really feel the energy.

God Save The Queen If they were to change some of the set, what tracks would you guys like to be replaced, and what with? One Vision has unnaturally not been played in North America until now, so why not take this opportunity to change the opening? Tear It Up was a personal favorite, but this is the "Rhapsody Tour". I'm not sure if we should play it without Keep Yourself Alive, which was so impressive in the movie... Also, Lap Of The Gods is a very emotional and wonderful ballad, but it was not exciting in Japan. How was it in other parts? But I'm not going on this tour, so my first priority is to make sure that the people who are actually going to see the show will go home satisfied with the set list. Even if it is the Greatest Hits tour.

Even if it is the Greatest Hits tour. Yeah, One Vision is a great opener, but that would probably require a lot of reworked visuals. When I saw them, I did think NIH worked well. I know I said I didn't think they'd do anything previously unplayed, but Kashoggi's Ship would be perfect to replace Tear It Up. They could change the lyrics a bit: "Who said that OUR party was all over... WE'RE in pretty good shape..." Replace ITLOTG with TMLWKY, chuck in Was It All Worth It towards the end and they'd have a good representation of The Miracle to flog a few more box sets. 🙂

Those of you who scored tickets are so lucky! I had hoped they would come to a city near me, but no such luck this time. Not only would I have had to pay a huge price for tickets, but it would have also meant an overnight stay. I did see them in 2019 in Comumbus, Ohio and it was one of the best concerts I've seen so I guess I'll have to settle for cherishing the memory. To those of you going.......... ENJOY!!

I think this was the average setlist from last year's tour: [...] 32. God Save The Queen If they were to change some of the set, what tracks would you guys like to be replaced, and what with? To be honest, I would be fine with any of those songs going, except for Fat Bottomed Girls because I love the extended version they do live, and A Kind of Magic since it wasn't part of the North American leg before. I hope Brian didn't get bored of the fireworks gimmick! It was included in the trailer so it will probably stick. It would be nice if they added Tenement Funster, not only to give Roger more of a spotlight but also as a gesture to the fans who couldn't make it to the Outsider tour in the UK. I'm not a big fan of Now I'm Here as an opener, especially when it's paired with Tear It Up, since they both feel stop-and-go to me. They have the perfect opening song staring at them in the face with the fast version of We Will Rock You. Oh god why haven't they tried that?

They must not have forgotten about this song, because they played a FAST version of We Will Rock You at last year's Taylor Hawkins Tribute Live, and while the tempo was a bit of a struggle to call it FAST, it was a great enough performance. Whether the audience is new or old fans, this is a great anthem that will grab your heart even if you are not a Queen fan in the first place. It's a great opener.

WWRY(fast) is their all time greatest opener imo. Nothing else comes close.
Btw...Live Killers is STIlL my favorite Queen live album as well.

I liked both WWRY and Now I'm Here as opening numbers when I saw them in 2017 and 2019. They were effective in different ways. Live Killers (which I still have) is my first Queen album. That is what hooked me back in my teens. My album is 40+ years old.

I'm sure they do it on purpose to drive fear of scarcity-driven purchases, but I barely had time to get my wits about me and it seemed like everything was going before my eyes. I just panicked and bought a floor ticket for MSG. Hope there isn't a bunch of tall people around me! I may try for nosebleeds next week for the second night.

What you described was my experience exactly. I had never intended to get floor tickets, but that was what was available unless I wanted to sit so far back that I had to watch the concert on a screen. I'm also a bit concerned about sitting behind someone who is really tall! Good luck getting tickets for the second MSG show...maybe the "competition" won't be so fierce this time.

I was lucky enough to get good seats in LA. Once I had them, I logged back in (since that's what you had to do to even see the seats) and kept staring at the blue dots coming and going. It was mesmerizing. All of a sudden a block of about 20 seats popped open around the front row. I may have screamed a little, then quickly clicked on the two best ones but they were gone. Luckily the second set I tried, we got.
I agree with everyone saying how stressful ticket buying is. I definitely needed the rest of the day to recover. I'm sure, come October/November, it will have been worth it!

Damn, no Vancouver stop. I missed the last concert because I was sick, so was hoping they'd return with this setup to Vancouver. Just as disappointed. Brian and Roger could stop any day now and I missed my chance.

For me it's not only Rock You (fast) but the one-two punch with Let Me Entertain You that's so great. Musically and thematically perfect. They've had other great openers, with Reaching Out ranking way, way at the bottom for me.

I was fortunate to get two tickets to the Toronto show. It was crazy how fast this sold out. Very soon, there were only single blue dots here and there in an 18,000-seat arena. I was hoping to get more tickets for the whole family but lucky I scored two. Now to figure out who goes...
