Any info on The Miracle Box Set

Doesn’t the release date on the links say May 2022? That may be a placeholder, but there was no guarantee this was going to be released this year.

Not trying to be difficult but I don't see the difference with that and any other image posted on here and hosted externally (which they all have to be anyway).

It's still official artwork, and we've removed other official artwork since we strengthened the rules on copyrighted material, so we have to try to be fair and consistent. 🙂

techincally, they do nothing of the kind. most Queen fans have been conditioned [by QPL] to expect nothing at all, therefore, by default they are not disappointing us at all. by continuing to produce very little, they are actually exceeding our expectations.

I highly doubt they will use that cover on the boxset. The cover is regarded as one of the worst of all time on the Internet. If they actually use that one  they're officially tone deaf. XD

Queen had some worse covers...Hot Space, Jazz, Flash Gordon, COSMOS ROCKS, and well the Queen I cover should have been better

i like Jazz, it's unconventional and a break from typical 1970s rock LP overs. Flash Gordon can be discounted as it's not really a Queen LP per se.
I agree with you 100% with regard to Hot Space - abysmal Warhol-type parody and utter pile of cr*p, to boot. if ever a "book should be judged by it's cover" then Hot Space is that book.

might i suggest that you are sure of what you are attempting to correct, in future? in this instance, maybe you check the meaning of per se BEFORE you leap to "correct". FYI per se means "by itself" - and it isn't a Queen album by itself, is it? it wouldn't exist at all - were it not for the movie. it wasn't created as a standalone LP, by itself, in itself, intrinsically or in essence.

but for clarity, here you go:
it clearly states on the front cover that's it's an Original Soundtrack Recording. therefore:

1. it's really NOT a band LP "by itself". the song creation and track running order were structured around the movie sequences in movie order. the tracks were written for the movie - not the other way around - all being put together expressly for the movie.
2. the very nature of it being a soundtrack LP kind of dictates that the cover artwork/sleeve design might be drawn from the movie graphics/logos.

15 pages about a boxset that still hasn't been released yet. Quite impressive :-)

Agree on Jazz, disagree on Hot Space. It's pretty iconic too. And I've always considered The Miracle to be one of Queen's "Queenest" covers.

If I had to pick a bad cover from Queen's full line-up days, it'd be Sheer Heart Attack. If we count posthumous releases or collaborations, I'd say Queen hasn't got one single live artwork right except maybe for the Wembley DVD and the Tribute gig.

I like The Sheer Heart Attack cover, Jazz Isn't so bad. I think the covers Get boring during the 80's with The Works and Magic, Hot Space. Gone were the days of being creative. I do like The Miracle, Innuendo and Made In Heaven I love.
