This came from someone who has a friend who works at a record shop. He got more detail than this but he wasn't allowed to say anymore than this: Also the person said The Teaser Tape is used in this but he didn't say how. How concrete is that though? 5 cassettes and a picture flick book would be somehow not a surprise

Yes, I wonder if that's set in stone. 😄 Personally, I'd be happy(ish) with a fully remixed album, with new proper drums, and the guitars sounding like classic Brian. Unless they've pulled something out of a hat, most of the demos are pretty poor, but I guess they'd be good for curiosity value if tarted up a bit.

Well it come from a source which correctly guessed that The Game would be released on a new vinyl in July before it was announced. So make your opinions on that but in my opinion pretty likely.

5 CDs? The Miracle - Regular CD Edition Alternate takes CD Interviews CD And....? Sure that they have interesting live edits from Montreal and Wembley to make 2 CDs...
To think in 3 CDs with demos, alternate takes and stuff like that is very unlikely...

Exactly. It's got to be Miracle related.

First live version of I want it all by Adam Lambert will probably be a bonus track.

Check the fanclub magazines from this. One of the forum members on this site has kindly uploaded scans of all fan club magazines.
I recall when this album was released that Queen discussed (I think in fan club magazine) that the band were considering releasing it as a single album, followed up with a possible double album of extended mixes. That covers 3 discs.
A 4th disc is easily filled with stuido outakes, some of which have been generously shared in decent quality over these last few years. Some of the demo's are interesting, but worth only a few listens. Some of the outtakes and jam sessions, such as Stealin' and Hang on in There are fabulous. Perhaps the 5th disc is merely the extra tracks such as the standard Hang on in There, Chinese Torture, standard B-sides and instrumentals.
Some of the instrumentals that have been shared on this site, and the ones included in the Freddie box set, are really worth litening to.
As for the DVD, there are a lot of promo videos for this album. It is possible they made extended videos to support the extended versions of the album they planned to release 1989/1990.
The Miracle is not my first choice for the next release box set, but it sits well in terms of bonus material. I Want It All is to this day one of my fave Queen tracks. The single version feels very different to the album version. I’ll let you decide which is best - but they resonate different moods at the start, and this leads to a different feel in the song overall.
What will be most interesting is whether, and how, they include Too Much Love in this set. Too Much Love was released as a promo single to some radio stations and then never appeared on the album. Perhaps there is a different take of this track that sits well on this album? This would then be a version that Freddie himself signed off on.

I believe that if there was not Innuendo then the Another Miracle would have been released with remixes, b/sides and Too much love will kill you - All God's people on it.
Now I think that will have The album, b/sides, remixes, DVD videos with some kind extra things or documentary, and hopefully some demos like Dog with the bone (was released by fanclub DVD with messages from the band many years ago), the invisible man and if it has Face it alone complete or a different take than the demo which have been leaked, I'm definitely going to buy it.

Don't try so hard and Innuendo were also well on their way to being completed in late 89 as well, so they would probably be on it too, Plus the B-sides. At some point they realized there was going to be enough time and material for another full album, obviously if they were to do it now they wouldn't be on it. Lost albums are a great marketing ploy to pad out a boxset look at "The Gouster" from the David Bowie boxset "Who can i be now".

I will hope for a desecent quality version of the "The Miracle Express" documentary that was shared years ago in 2 various quality versions but not that great. I'm almost sure they are gonna re-use the Queen For An Hour 1989 interview with Mike Read although that was already featured in the "On Air" boxset. Besides that one can only hope for interesting material. I wished they did proper deluxe boxsets treatments like the Prince estate. The fans get a deluxe boxsets from one of his albums every year and they do it very well. The new forthcoming "Sign O' The Times" contains 8 CD's, 3 of them chockfull with unheard demo's, alternate takes and many outtakes just like the 1999 boxset last year.

To be honest it'll be a let down and not a patch on CMIs'releases!

But, obviously Prince is not around to veto releasing anything he doesn’t think is worthy of release. It’s been at least a couple of decades since I’ve held out much hope that Queen would release something astonishing from the archives. I don’t want to get my hopes up and be disappointed yet again. But maybe, just maybe, this time they’ll surprise me again. Hopefully they’ll use the recent News of the World box set as a starting point.

Found this on Reddit the other day; this doesn't really fit this thread, but didn't feel like it deserved a new one, either. Chinese Torture was called Chinese Strings at one point? edit: Ah, looks like this is a scan by moonhead and was posted on this forum back in April, along with scans of other master tapes: queenchat.boards.net/thread/266/queen-master-tapes-pics

Nice info, thanks!
Then again, some songs don't seem to have their full titles in those labels, so maybe whoever wrote that didn't want to be too accurate anyway. Still probably a working title that might have changed at the last minute.
It's also interesting that they originally intended TMLWKY to feature between IWIA and TIM, not sure if that was common knowledge. HOIT was always meant to be a bonus track rather than just the first b-side track, probably because it was the one they liked the most. Gotta wonder why "Stealin'" in particular is featured in the master too, although it did become the second b-side song.

The pic of the master tape I posted was actually shared back in April by Moonhead on this forum, and it's taken from the Studio Collection vinyl box set. Here's the thread, where you can download the rest: queenchat.boards.net/thread/266/queen-master-tapes-picsI searched here and on Queenzone before I posted it, but didn't catch it.

Does anyone else find it on that Hang On In There was only deemed good enough for a B-side? It's probably my favorite track from The Miracle sessions. Queen doesn't have too many great b-sides, maybe this one and A Human Body.

Queen doesn't have too many great b-sides, maybe this one and A Human Body. I think all their non-album B-sides were pretty decent, but I can understand why some of them didn't make the cut. I think 'I Go Crazy' or 'A Human Body' wouldn't be out of place as a fixed inclusion on their album's tracklist.
