I understand that you don't believe me, but I have no proof of my claim, unless I revela who he is, which could damage his remaining few connections to people from QPL. I was told that "Queen I" boxset is coming very soon (he didn't mention Queen II strangely), so if there will be such a release, I hope you will remember me  But as I said, I understand your doubts. It kind of sounds like you’ve spoken to. . . . . “The Archivist” like you he probably has no proof of his claim! 😎 No, its not Greg. I wasn't at Motreux, so it's not a rumour from a source from FM birthday party or something like that sadly. |

One reason I hope for a Q + Q2 box set is if they only do the 1st album a box for Q2 might never come out.

I hope that there will be QII in 2025 and SHA in 2025, beacause these two are my favourites (plus NOTW The Miracle and Innuendo, kind of weir taste i have to admit :-D ). I was happy when NOTW and Miracle box sets were released, but especially with TH I know I am in minority. |

because everybody wants to lay claim to being the first to announce something. whether it comes true (or not) - this person did not announce anything tangible. basically, without sources and quotes, these are not announcements, these are just mad people shouting at pigeons in the park - pigeons you've just thrown bits of rubbish that looks a little like breadcrumbs to. well, this pigeon here is getting mightily tired with being constantly teased and shouted at. this is the internet gossip equivalent of claiming to know the unknown second source of the White Nile : and then not showing how you did it. Some "inside" info. I have a friend who is a producer here in Spain. One of his best friend is a big boss here on Universal Spain. I asked him if there's any info of a new release of Queen. And he said that there's a box set of Queen first album. But, he said something that really make me feel sad... he said that on the box there will be the remaster of 2011, the new mix, but also material from Rainbow 1974. On his own words: I see a lots of things that was already released... so, yeah, that's a typical release of Queen Productions, so it seems to be legit Not the first one, mate |

I think I understand where this is all coming from. On Facebook, one person asks "Anyone know anything about the upcoming Queen 1 2024 remaster and Boxset and Night Comes Down single?" In the comments he writes that he saw the box set packaging in the pictures

The various persons on facebook talking about that says than they saw a image of the box set, and the date of release is 'octuber 25th'. Also, it seems than Mad The Swine will be fit in the actual record. Al rumours, but let see...

But "where this is all coming from" is John Anthony, or at least that's the most solid testimony we have so far which explicitly says Queen I. And it wasn't one post, he kept updating. Might he be bluffing? Sure, nothing's impossible. But just saying this wasn't out of thin air.

I wouldn't want to expect much, but shouldn't there be a 3-4 year period between box sets? Whitesnake have been releasing deluxe album box sets annually recently, and in terms of content they’ve generally been far more extensive that what Queen is turning out. |

Note: Covid was blamed for an awful lot of "things", but a 2019 release date is NOT one of them. |

Facts: late 2019 Jim Beach confirms Miracle Box is on the works. 2020, Greg talked about it a lot of times on his facebook, including a potential release date on late 2020. Finally appears on 2022. Excuses about that: COVID and 2021 release of GH. |
