So, nothing this year, and next year, three Collector's editions! Great stuff! Realistically, Roger and Brian have about 10 years left to be actively involved in any sort of anniversary release, so I would suggest they get on with it. (maybe an unpopular opinion) i think your pleas will amount to squat, you may be pissing in the wind  |

As has been pointed out, Roger and Brian don’t like looking back and it’s about what they currently do.
However at some point record company pressure for some kind of product will come into play. I wonder if that was the reason for both The Works and Miracle box sets. If that’s the case there is a mounting number of anniversaries to choose from.
In the absence of something new, something old might be the answer.

I suppose the good news is that The Miracle box set was released for its 34th anniversary - so when a Queen 50th never happened, and a Queen II 50th most likely won't happen (go on, prove me wrong QP ), that doesn't mean the next logcial release is for a 60th anniversary. Given that I'm not sure why a rerelease with studio demos, and outtakes is unpopular with them. They don't even have to get involved until the end. |

I never expect anything from Brian & Roger as regards box sets that way I am not disappointed ! I think the problem is two fold Brian is a perfectionist with any releases and they are busy touring and I just don't think they can be bothered !
