Hi there!
Many members of this forum are musicians, as I, for sure. I think it would be a nice idea to open a subforum, or a sticky thread with musical inquires: chords, tabs, sheets, audio in general, music theory...all applied to Queen/related, of course. I'm right know working in a PDF file with chords of all Roger's solo work, for instance. (There is also a great PDF book, from the good ol' days of QueenZone, with chords for all Queen songs, is a very interesting reference for all musicians).
Sorry moderators, if this entry doesn't apply, but is just an idea!

There was / is a thread which was started quite early on: queenchat.boards.net/thread/126/question-find-interestingI'm totally for the idea, but as you can see, it didn't previously take off, despite some initial interest. If you want to get the thread going again, that would be great, but I think we would need to see how it goes before making a sub forum out of it. |

I'd be in for it, myself and a ton of the bootleg community from TQD are musicians, Kieran and a couple others did an amazing cover of White Queen a couple years back. I also make Queen covers for fun, too. |

Years back I was part of a Seven Seas of Rhye cover we did with (among others) members of this board which was a lot of fun to do!

Guys, can I just say that we already have a thread for this, as mentioned above, but again: queenchat.boards.net/thread/126/question-find-interestingWe've had suggestions for separate boards before, such as the Computer / Tech board, which were duly created and have since been largely ignored. Too many designated sections on a forum often leads to "dead areas", where nothing but the occasional tumbleweed passes through, and we don't want that to happen. Can I suggest that the existing thread is populated a bit more and we will see how things go? In the meantime, I will make it sticky and see if there might be a more appropriate place for it. 👍 |
