The thing is, as I understand it, GDPR only applies if the data is hosted or stored in the territories where the regulations apply, which in this case is the UK and Europe. I'm not sure what regulations they have in Australia, but if the site and the data is hosted their, then 'our' version of GDPR may not be enforceable. I'm pretty sure though, that they would have similar data protection regulations in Australia, which he would have to comply with. additionally, companies that have customers in the EU (airlines, for example) also need to abide by GDPR laws. This has affected us here in New Zealand. Good point. 👍 |

Can I ask what happened to Fatty ? He withdrew from society in shame after being seen in Scotland with a soft drink after 10am. He now spends his time knitting unicorn hats that he sells on ebay. Sadly, the incident with the budgie has limited his output, so sales are intermittent |

I bought one of the unicorn hats, although I didn't see the need for him to have sewn a penis on its head. Unless he ran out of unicorn horns and was desperate for sales, given the budgie incident and impending court case.
It was a bad streak for the guy. He used to have a business making accordions. It folded.

I tried to sign up a while ago but discovered it just seemed to be filled with people arguing? It seems that it went downhill as others here have said. Shame for a site that has been that important to be no more nonetheless.

I jumped on and had a quick squiz just for old times sakes. Later threads are still filled with the usual shit. The place won't change from the festering cesspool that it is. It's a shame that a lot of valuable info will be lost but good riddance to the place.

I have had a difficult time being able to access Queenzone of late. I keep getting "wait operation timed out" messages. I live in the states...couldn't get on until about 2:00 am. I'm guessing it will be like this until Nov. 1 when QZ shuts down for good. There must be a TON of people on the site, all trying to save threads at the same time!
