Well I guess it’s 3am in Australia, and I can’t access the site, so that’s that, huh. Any clue what the last post was? Pretty sure it was spam. I morbidly checked the place a few hours ago and all actual threads in "Serious Discussion" had been pushed back by a bot that repeatedly posted the same thread about utter nonsense, as usual. It was like checking a dumpster fire expecting to find burning trash and it absolutely delivered. It was also kind of amazing how the bots ran rampant all over the boards and necrobumped so many old threads. Until the very end, that was the board's eventual identity. |

I tried to access Queenzone 2 or 3 times earlier today but was unable to do so. I previously saw the multitude of 'selling crystals to heal cancer' posts.

I had only been on QZ for about 3 years so my experience was long after its heyday and I saw way too many bots and trolls. Still, I made some good friends there and learned lots about Queen. When I saw it spammed by the crystal healing posts this week it made it a bit easier to say goodbye. Still a bit bittersweet though. RIP.

Wanted to visit QZ last night for one more stroll around some of the old threads about Brian his playing and Freddie his last live gigs but i couldn't access it. Gave me an error "That Timeout message" and i guess this is it. Made lots of nice friends on there, some of them i'm still talking to, others i.... well, don't, unfortunately. But i'll still miss them, and i'm gonna miss Queenzone. Even though i was an ass back in 2007 when i was a 16 year old idiot with bad English skills  To be honest... I think i might go to www.Queenzone.Com a lot in the next few months just out of habit ;( It's a shame that it's not accessible anymore.. In between the trolling there were great topics. The Duckhouse thread, the Knebworth Footage thread, threads with insighths about his HIV Development, stuff like that, i really enjoyed reading those. Rest in peace Such a shame. |
