Is this really 1972? Did they have those outfits at that time? To me, it looks more like it could be from the Queen II UK Tour. Then again, there aren't many actual pics of the band before 1973 so I have no idea what they would have worn around 1972. I’m pretty sure that’s the Friar’s Club date in Aylesbury, March 2nd, 1974. King’s College’s stages are a lot bigger than that, and that stage looks just like the Friar’s Club one. John doesn’t have a Rickenbacker, which was allegedly used up until December 20th, 1972, and another giveaway is that another photo of this show shows that the drums have the Queen crest on it, if you look really hard at the photo (it’s not very visible due to the high exposure), which wouldn’t be on a kit until the Queen I tour. Sorry the image is so small:
Marquee Club 1972 - Queen crest (barely) visible on the kick drum.

Basel, May 19th 1977. Unknown Photographer. Fabulous ! But pretty sure these three shots aren't from Basel - Deacon is in another outfit.
And great shot of Brian with the Birch copy:

This is an interesting photo. It’s definitely 1973 - 1974, but I’ve never seen Freddie wear that white suit in Queen I or Queen II. It might be a Marquee show, because Freddie is seen wearing that suit in the Marquee, but nowhere else from that show beyond. Could it be Marquee ‘73? Or a show sometime before Imperial College (Oct 26, 1973)? It could also be from a Queen II show previously identified as unphotographed. John’s suit definitely makes this a Queen II show though.. I couldn’t put the photo on for some reason, it kept disappearing, but here is a link, my apologies: ibb.co/BGZNL2b
You have to copy the link of the photo itself, not the original URL.

Some great shots here. Here's the photographer's site to buy prints - I actually may grab one or two, as they're incredible.
New York 12-2-77:
Nassau Coliseum 11-19-78 (I think) - he was a NYC photographer, but it's certainly not either of the MSG shows:

Yeah, and I'm not sure if Freddie ever wore the white outfit on the Euro Tour. Should have been an obvious giveaway. The ones of him in the Black and White one are almost certainly Basel though.

He wore it in Rotterdam 78 though, so who knows.

That’s not the Marquee show, that’s Oxford ‘73. If you crop the photo just right, you can see that photo is a cropped version of the Oxford show.

Why thank you, I hate to appear as or seem rude, I’m just a mean detective. I’m really dedicated to my detective work, and making sure that I get the correct information based off of slight nuances in photographs and stuff.

With some people we need to be delicate when we know they're wrong, but I'm happily corrected. All in the interest of annotating and preserving the history with accuracy. Keep 'em coming.

Anyone knows anything about this one? If I had to guess I'd say it's somewhere in Cornwall in 69/70, but literally no idea.

Look closely on the right one. Very symbolic. Freddie standing in front of a 'Duck House' in 1979. The exact spot where Made In Heaven cover pic was taken 16 years later, but with his statue... Here's the band together in the very same spot.

Freddie playing the mini-koto, probably in his flat, not sure.

And the last ones for now. One of the most important pics of the band (recording session in Scorpio Studios for ANATO) 1. Freddie checking his notes 2. Freddie giving a key before recording the vocal harmonies. Looks like he's pressing F. 3. Brian practising the mini-koto, which was used on the album. This is revelation to me. I've bumped on it a few months ago.

I would love to know where it is. Looks like 1977 We can usually date photos based on hairstyles, but headphones tend to ruin hair !
Maybe they're recording Sheer Heart Attack ?
Or is there some other song on NOTW or Jazz where Brian isn't in on the harmonies?
@sebastian ?

I'm thinking that it's from the ADATR sessions as Roger's hair is both long and bleached

This one isn't as high res, but it's a bit more detailed.

I'd say it's a hotel room in Japan. People usually didn't have lamps like that in their houses.
Keep 'em coming - love your bits of commentary on the photos.

Was this taken through the control room window, or is it some other kind of reflection?
Here's another copy:
