Hi everyone,
I've seen a few people on this thread with the capabilities of capturing very high quality screen grabs from some Queen footage. I'm wondering is anyone able to capture a high quality version of this 'behind the kit' view of Roger's kit at Live Aid? There are multiple views like this displayed during the Live Aid footage but I can't seem to locate a high quality image.
Many thanks, Mark.
Here's a bit bigger picture from the video:

Another one from backstage at The Forum, Inglewood 1977-12-22 And now this all begs the question, which night is this shot from?

3. Live in 1977 NOTW Tour (It Was Originally labeled as 1982 Inglewood but obviously it isn't) This one is from Oakland 12/17/77. And of course, now with the new info, this is clearly a shot from LA. The paper in the strings on the acoustic guitar are almost certainly a lyric sheet for white christmas.

Don't know if this is the right place to put this, but here's a ticket for 11/15/75, shared to me by Graham Jones, who attended the show that night.

A couple unique overhead shots from the Opera tour, presumably taken by a crew member. The first one is from Dundee.

Now we know where this one came from.

Purley Tiffany's, December 17, 1979 Incredible shots ! And the '77 ones too. Did you take these ?
Look how few lights they're playing under. Unreal. It makes their regular rig look like the Starship Enterprise.

I found these on Twitter. I left a comment so hopefully, there may be more.

Edmonton, March 18th 1977, taken by Aris Valpeteris This photo was shared here before as LA 77. Of course, we rejected that label at the time, but we can now assume that date is probably correct. Rotterdam, April 20th 1978

Newcastle City Hall, December 3, 1979 by Rick Cook Fantastic shots. I love how the amps behind Fred look exactly as they do on the film from the second night. Little things like that always excite me.

Newcastle City Hall, December 3, 1979 by Rick Cook Stunning shots. It looks like he's wearing his white tie though so surely this is from the 2nd night?

Those New London Theatre pics look great. Yeah the lighting crew must have had an easy night at Tiffany’s. Having said that there are a few more lights in use than are obvious in the photos. The band are lit from the front as the shadows on the front of the drum riser suggest, probably a single truss of 12 par cans.. Having said that seeing them with so little production in such a small venue must have been amazing.

Great as these are, on closer inspection it looks like they've been through some kind of upscaling AI - there are frames around the band, audience members, and even some of the lights.

Quote from the photographer, 'Haven't had a lot of success scanning 35mm slides before but have invested in a new unit which is giving great results. Will post a few examples : I took these pictures on 6th October 1977 at the New London Theatre'

Hard to tell from afar, so it's not too horrible. That one shot appears to be during Tie Your Mother Down.
