Any info on The Miracle Box Set

I believe that the jamming could be Face it Alone or something like IGWAFO.

If it is DWTB I will not buy it.

It's either going to be Face It Alone or I Guess We're Falling Out? Would be weird if they're releasing it as a standalone single though.

I’m assuming there will be a demos/outtakes CD (CD2 here) if the box set is still coming out. A new full Queen track is the most newsworthy thing so I understand them announcing that first, without going into details of it being part of a box set, especially for a general audience.

In any case, this is great news. If it’s anything on the level of Let Me in Your Heart Again, I’ll be happy!

I also thought of "A New Life Is Born" \ "When Love Breaks Up", Maybe there's a full demo or two that can be crafted into a song.....
But then the cynic in me wondered if it was all just typical Queen Production double talk and they are talking about Too Much Love Will Kill You.

well, like I said a couple of weeks ago, on a spanish interview, Brian confirmed the box set, so yes, this could be a preview single that they want to sell on QOL on physical format too maybe

When we come up with something worthwhile and we can polish it enough to release it, we always try to get it out, although there are times when we release things pretty much as they are on the tapes, if we think it's material that people might be interested in."

"I must be getting old", as in Roger's The Unblinking Eye. All I remember from the early 2000s are the rumours of a "Queen" boxset, similar to the Freddie one. It certainly would have been a miracle, but I guess that's not what is meant in the magazine.

I'm excited for the first time in years!

Due to so many songs from the sesions being blocked from YouTube it should be an indicator that they will be part of this new release.

It's remarkable really, that this "potential release" has generated so much interest for so long. If you count the old QZ discussion this was rumoured/discussed as long ago as 2018. That's four years.

I find this confounding because, almost every fan poll ever taken NEVER regards Miracle with any kind of respect/status compared to other LPs. Even here on our own forum Miracle only rated 10th with Hot Space and Works.

However, the answer among those who are not great fans of the album is obvious: QPL have treated fans badly down the years, so we're now extremely grateful for any morsel - no matter how irrelevant it may be to them.

Perhaps if we keep this thread for Miracle Box Set speculation, and the other for the seemingly definite new Freddie track?  We can always merge them later if appropriate. 

They didn't really announce it in 2020, did they? Perhaps they were about to when the pandemic hit worldwide, but I don't remember anything other than rather substantiated claims (Greg Brooks talking about it and whatnot). Definitely more than a rumor, but no real talk until just now.

Pretty sure Greg also talked about a potential "Jazz" anniversary release that never happened. I don't think they ever pushed for it since it's hardly among the band's own favorite albums, but then again I gotta wonder why they're going all in with "The Miracle". Not that I'll complain.

Anyway, here's hoping the final product became better after the extra 2 years.

Yeah, but in 2020 Greg used to put a lot of messages on his facebook about the progress of the box, which is something that never happened on another "releases than never happened"
