Three years later, you're still discussing it. Proving that MBG is always in your minds in fairness, it may not be. well not until she logs in and clicks the "Recent Threads" link queenchat.boards.net/threads/recent...and is presented with MBG appearing toward the top of the page (4th most recent)

^ I was joking, of course, but now I have a serious question about a version of the album:
I used to have it on cassette, but did away with it several years ago. I have been missing my cassette collection and have been slowly piecing it together again, as cheaply as possible.
Today arrived Mr Bad Guy! (LOL)
Have just popped it on and immediately noticed that the version of IWBTLY is the extended version. I don't remember it being like that on my first copy (which was a UK edition). It *may* have been, and always has been, but I don't recall.
I've just done a quick search on Discogs and don't see any of the official version listed with IWBTLY as extended. This made me think I have an unofficial copy, but that doesn't tally with the Discogs search, either.
My version has a UK/Ned sleeve, which looks and feels like it's genuine (i.e the print is very good, it's crisp and clear, properly aligned and the paper stock isn't off etc). It has catalogue 40-86312, and it's a grey tape with red and white print (paper label)
All unofficial versions have a variant of the sleeve or the wrong sleeve altogether, but I'm not seeing an official version that completely matches with my sleeve, tape AND having the extended IWBTLY....
Could be a foreign tape mismatched in a UK/NED sleeve?
Any ideas?
Cheers!

My first copy of MBG was the UK cassette, and had the extended version.

I fixed the tracklisting on all European/UK/Spanish cassettes on Discogs. Not a single one had the correct track duration listed when compared to the provided scans. It looks like in Europe the extended version of IWBTLY was added to all cassette editions of the album. (Although there is this one Portugese release which has not enough sleeve scans to confirm this, so I left this Portugese pressing alone: www.discogs.com/release/9585855-Freddie-Mercury-Mr-Bad-Guy ) Outside of Europe the standard version of IWBTLY was added to the cassette version of the album. At least that what it looks like when checking the ones with enough sleeve scans.

Interestingly, my portuguese cassette only has SEVEN tracks on it: MIH, IWBTLY (extended), FA, TMBMTLTT, LOMO, MLID, LMLTNT.

Interestingly, my portuguese cassette only has SEVEN tracks on it: MIH, IWBTLY (extended), FA, TMBMTLTT, LOMO, MLID, LMLTNT. Strange... but it HAS the extended IWBTLY on it.... So does that mean the Portugese cassette on Discogs also has the extended version?
