Don't know why I bought one. Maybe just for the signature. The audio content is underwhelming and I expect that the liner notes are very limited and will not reveal anything new.
Next is Roger's new album I guess!

Seems that the only ‘new’ track is “Driven By You (2021 Version / 2021 Mix)” - disappointing.
I did manage to get a signed version kind as I was going to but the set anyway - missed opportunity to include Brixton on dvd/Blu Ray as was presumably the intent when one track was remastered and trailed a couple of years back!

All about the new fans as BM stated, nothing for the old timers which something could easily been included in the box set. Clear indication once again how they feel about the old timers. Pure crap once again.........

At least it looks like they've swapped DBY around to include the Cozy version on the album, assuming that is, that the 'Ford Ad Version' is the original album version, now relagated to disc two. So, I guess that leaves a bit of a mystery over DBY 2021 Version / 2021 Mix. Surely not a re-record?

What a waste of an opportunity! Ford Advert version is 1:00 mix which was released on 12" Driven By You in 1991. It's the only track which wasn't available before in official digital format. So called '2021 version' is the new version/radio mix featuring Cozy and Neil from BTTL single 1992. Nothing special. Most probably CD2 doesn't feature any remixes but just probably remastered originals from 1991-1993. It's lame to remix bonus tracks and not remix an album itself, doesn't it? I'm sure it's just a mistake in press release by some of these people from the team with low imagination and stupid decisons. What I like is the uncropped photo from the sleeve as an art print. I’ve just seen a comment from someone ‘in the know’ that they expect a separate Brixton box set as that was an album release in its own right, so I take back my comment about having the dvd/blu ray included here.

As disappointing as expected. Such a shame, but then again Brian is not that energetic anymore and he's probably very busy anyway to invest more time in this particular album.
So, how about a complementary BTTL collection album made by ourselves? I reckon we could compile it easily but maybe we'll upset Brian and co. by making it available around this time, hehe.

I see that the final track on the ‘Out of the Light’ second CD has already been renamed on the QOL store…it was called “Driven By You’ 2021 Mix” and is now called “Driven By You (Cozy and Neil Version ’93)”…..so likely NOT a new version as first thought!

Against my better judgement, I ended up ordering the limited box set. Even though I already have most (if not all) the tracks in my collection, my OCD caused me to get the box set. It's going to end up costing me around $140 Canadian, which is ridiculous, really. I would have happily paid that amount for the signed version as I don't have any of the bands signatures on anything, but I keep missing out on the limited offers (although, it seems those signed bundles may have only been for the UK anyways). Sigh. Oh well...

So....by the time the ars**oles e-mailed regarding the limited set, it was sold out. £70 for the signed/ £70 for unsigned (how is that fair?) but now the scalpers have it on fleabay for £200-300+.
They can royally f**k off now.
