Now something from me. I was watching the latest documentary 'The Band That Rocked The World' and spotted 4 rare photos. I thought it's worth to pay attention to them: 1. This one was taken outside the Hôtel Eden Au Lac in Montreux - August 78, perhaps during a break from recording the Jazz album: 2. South America, 1981: 3. A schedule for Saturday Night Live TV show: 4. Great shot from Hyde Park 1976: The last 2 photos are slided in the documentary, so I took 2 screenshots for each photo and glued them together to make one full image.

European Jazz Tour, 1979. Unknown Photographer. These two were taken seconds apart from it.

Also, Jeffrey Mayer is based out of California. It's 100% Santa Monica, and if the dates are correct, then it's March 9th.

i don't think it's from santa monica 1976, brian wore a different shirt that year of the tour, and also i have without watermark some pics There were four nights, and Brian wore that outfit on plenty of other dates on that tour.
Also - Jeffrey Mayer was an LA based photographer. There's no good reason to doubt the given date of March 9.

The only reason why I would maybe cast doubt on the dates is because all of his pics seemed to be dated for the firsts nights of their respective runs (e.g his 1980 pics were dated as July 8th), and some of the dates were swapped (the 1977 pics were labelled as 1976, and vice verse). But, they clearly weren't just filler dates, so I'm thinking they should be correct. And of course, we can't forget that March 9th had two shows, so perhaps they wore different outfits for each performance.

Only seen Bri with an SG once - and it was a photo session, not a gig. Unsure if this was mentioned already but he played an SG on a radio show a few years ago, though this was just one that the radio station had and not one of his own. Sorry for bringing this up after several months.

All photos here taken by Stacey Katsis. Chicago 1976. Could be from any of the three nights. Chicago 1/28/77 Chicago 12/7/78 Wow - these are fabulous.
No doubt there are a ton more. There's not a chance a photographer this good showed up to each of these gigs without at least full roll or two of film.

Wembley '78, taken by Pete Still. The last one is my fave - looks like it's the final fanfare of TYMD at the end of the set proper, as Brian is holding an A power chord.

Every site I've seen these posted, they've been labelled as 5/11/78 - in case anyone wanted a specific date.
