yes there were separate conversations about Imperial College - but NOT part of the 50for50 project. I think the optimists made a huge leap there in joining up "invisible dots" to form a non-existent picture.
there's the other thing to consider here: even if QPL had implied IC's inclusion in this (they didn't) - why would any queen fan of longer than two minutes believe them? they have decades of form for not making good on "stuff they're working on". forewarned is forearmed people.

if anything good comes form this - or any other QPL project. then accept it with stunned pleasant surprise, but in reality we should all expect little more than nothing new - ever. no expectatons = no disappointment.
i'll say it again: when your blind optimism has deserted you, all you have left is reality.

a unique and remarkable journey the concept of unique merely means not assembled exactly like this previously. sure, we'll see almost all the old tat we've ever seen before, but the format and compilation of the presentation will be different

discover some aspects of the story you might not know a clear indication that this is (really) for the casual/semi-serious fan.

sound checks, backstage and rare after-show accessdoesn't say how much or which gigs - it could range between lots of footage (i seriously doubt it) right down to as little as 1x sound check, 1x backstage, 1x aftershow - all 3 secs duration and all from stuff we've already seen.

not really - and no intention to correct you, either. it's more about interpretation of the syntax used. QPL's legal department are not stupid. their maxim appears to be "hint at the earth, promise f**k-all" - it's worked well for decades, and will continue to do so.

I think that was a modern flange effect on the vocal rather than digital artefacts of isolating it from the backing track. But then it could've been added to cover up damage from splitting the stems. Who knows? 

I thought the video was OK. Yes, underwhelming for us, but did it's job. Over the series it will make a nice punchy 170ish minute jaunt through their career.

I'm very content with all of the concert footage and behind the scenes of the first episode of 'Queen : The Greatest' even though it wasn't even that, it was just their mimed performance (and also Rock Montreal) footage

Sine very early 2000s anytime there was a big let down to hardcore fans, almost always something was emerged, like leaked demos, uncirculated bootleg etc.

If the 1st episode's any indication, my bet is that the folks at QPL are gonna use an old VHS copy of Live at the Rainbow for the Rainbow episode.

Another abomination of an episode. One thing QPL is good at is making me laugh. The font at 0:45 killed me

what got me laughing the most was the watermark of BBC4 HD during Brian's interview!! lol
