If I'm not mistaken at the beginning they promised 50 episodes because it's the 50th anniv. So they must be ready and can't cancel it. That'll put the end at 25 February... is it supposed to be a significant date? They haven’t all been made yet - these were discussed on the Queen Pod about three weeks before the IRS’s one had aired, and whilst they knew the content (certainly of the first four), Simon Lupton commented that they hadn’t actually started putting them together yet! This is news to me, thanks! Bold of them to make it as they go. Might explain some of the poorness in quality. |

Edit: I looked up the views: Eps 1 Keep Yourself Alive - 377k views Eps 2 Live at the Rainbow - 189k views Eps 3 Killer Queen - 345k views Eps 4 Queen in Finland - 86k views This right here shows QPL why they should focus their efforts on the hits. Both KYA and KQ are in the 300k category, far surpassing the other two episodes that arguably cater toward the more die hard fans. Hang on. To get a fair comparison you need to look at how many views each has in its first week / month. Hitting episode 4 for being viewed less than episode 1 in two days is... bad statistics. |

Both KYA and KQ are in the 300k category, far surpassing the other two episodes that arguably cater toward the more die hard fans. Hang on. To get a fair comparison you need to look at how many views each has in its first week / month. Hitting episode 4 for being viewed less than episode 1 in two days is... bad statistics. I agree, should look back after 4 weeks of each eps, if I remember to lol. |

So far I am enjoying the short clips. Just a pity that they are just that, short clips. The last one was indeed very interesting and makes me wonder what we can expect for the remaining clips.
I do hope though that they will celebrate their 50 years in a different/better way later this year. The 40 year anni was in retrospect much much better. But I guess that they can or will use the pandemic as an excuse...

For 1984 would be Radio GA GA and Breakfree with some reference to hard life and European tour due to hammer to fall video
Then 1985 Far east and Australian - New Zealand tour all leading to Live Aid (plus One vision episode, it is shame not use recycled footage 😁)

Well, this week's episode was quite underwhelming.
Seemed to be a rehash from the 'Days of Our Lives' and the 'Classic Albums' documentaries.
Hadn't seen the picture of Brian in his stripy socks before, so that's something, I guess.
