Apparently Brian is going to re-release "Back To The Light" a little after its 28th anniversary, so whatever. It doesn't exactly scream "strategic planning", does it?

Could it be that QPL will release a 30th anniversary PD for Innuendo? A box set would have been hyped up a long time ago, so that’s no chance. What do you guys think? They didn’t announce the The Game PD, and the only announced the Flash Gordon PD’s because the release wasn’t on the actual 40th anniversary.

I think a great release for me would be the first live gig they have available (the lost tape Brian found) and there last at Knebworth. Just a passing thought.

I'm not overly bothered about Knebworth. For one thing it would be more or less the same as Wembley, and secondly, it would be too sad to enjoy, knowing it was the last one. Early stuff would be interesting but I still think the late 70s period would be most enjoyable, when they were at their peak (imo).

I'm hoping for unreleased studio stuff. Think I may be being very optimistic though!

Again, that would be interesting, but arguably, barrel scraping, as I think if they had anything decent it would have been released by now. I'd rather have alternative takes and that sort of stuff, like on the NOTW box.

Knebworth is pointless. They have released three full '86 gigs plus some additional bits, there are plenty other things they should focus on.

I really would want Knebworth but at the same time I wouldn’t want any overdubs or anything within that nature but that will likely not happen!

The plan is to release a seventies live box set with the following albums (coloured vinyl like the studio box set): - Queen live at the Rainbow (the 2014 release but on purple vinyl) - A night at the Odeon (the 2015 release but white vinyl) - A picknick by the Serpentine (Hyde Park 76 on black vinyl (to make sure a coloured rerelease is possible) - A day or two at the Court (Earls Court 77 on orange vinyl) - It's too late to spread your wings live in Houston during the News of the world tour (Houston 77 on green vinyl) - 3 nights in Paris (red vinyl) - An evening for the people of Kampuchea at the Odeon (when we played with Adam Lambert already the Hammersmith Apollo sticker with a signed setlist in the first 50 box sets) Included in the box also download links to: - A complete 1970 concert - 15 show from the soundboard in their entirety from all the various tours Sadly, then I woke up so I don't remember what shows those were!

In a recent interview with a German magazine Classic Rock I believe), when asked about the Jubilee Roger said that he does not care too much about these kind of Jubilees since he prefers to look to to future not to the past.
So I will not hold my breath.

LOL. So playing gigs with a Freddie imitator as lead singer and set lists that consist nearly only of Queen cover songs is not looking back?

Hello guys, beautiful chat, we hope that this year something new comes out. I ask you for an opinion, I'm collecting all the official picture disc albums and official concerts. I would like your opinion, I would like to have the complete collection in Lp of Queen, what do you recommend? Queen's colored vinyl box? or the deagostini version? I would like something of quality, or wait for the 50th anniversary? Thank you

It is a series published by Agostini released in 2018, which includes 25 albums, 15 from the studio discography and the remaining: -Greathist 1-2-3 -Rock Montreal 3lp -Live at the Bowl 3 lp - Live at Wembley 3 lp -A Night at the Odeon: Hammersmith 1975 (2lp) -On Air (3lp) -Live at the Rainbow '74 (2lp) -Live Killers (2lp) I didn't buy it at the time, I have some live shows and the great hits 3 that they had never reissued ... but I can't decide on some collection to choose, I would like a series of quality LPs

If Queen had stopped in 1998, as you seem to believe should have been the case, then there probably wouldn't be a forum for you to air such negativity. Many people are supportive of Brian and Roger continuing for as long as they can, and whilst I'm not a particular fan of AL, there's no way he's a 'Freddie imitator', and at least he can actually sing the songs. And I don't see how Brian and Roger, performing their own songs, can be accused of playing 'Queen cover songs'.

No worries, Ted. Unfortunately, we can't allow the link as it would be a copyright infringement.
